You have truly captured the rythm of the Eastern dancing, where the female displays her art for the pleasure of the opposite sex, I dearly love the rythm of the Latin dances, rumba, samba, paso doble where the movement of the couple is erotically sensual.

Hi FAY - Angela here 8:30 am Friday ! Loved the Poem & the Picture. Belly Dancing is by Title & Tickle Sensuous - love to watch it & try it. Flamenco is also sensuous but more subtle. We have Moroccan influences in Andalucia and the exposed Navel (with an embedded Gemstone !) is considered both Sensual & Sacred ! I love to watch the reactions of Brian (and other red-blooded men) as the Dance proceeds it enlivens all the senses and leaves nothing to the imagination ! I am much too modest to ever be a Professional Belly Dancer ! Brian is very proud when I dance Flamenco but would draw the line @ Belly Dancing especially as we are engaged to be married ! Thanks for sharing a very elegant Poem - in both Form & Function !

Never found professional lady dancers feminine enough to appeal to be honest. Sexy and sensual yes, but something missing.
Now a good dancer with her partner down at the club can be something else, as she carefully avoids stepping on all the watching fella's tongues.
