AS NIGHT DISPLACES
An untamed sea which sets its rules
sends tumbling surging rhythmic waves
in frenzied flow across the bay
where sea and sky
sit ill defined
as night displaces day.

Near perfect Michael ...
Now do I have a nice cuppa tea or a big mug of cocoa this chilly mane...
Neville
It's coffee for me but I'll do you a cocoa - actually I am in need of one right now.
I felt that saline surge as I read this little gem Michael - - great watercolour too.
Thanks Fay
Beautiful- both the words and the artwork.
It was a commission about 18 months ago - thanks Andy.
A fine write and pic M - and the poor folk in the path of the hurricane.
Yes we mustn't forget them.
I scent the salted air and hear the pebbles rumble as they're clawed by the hungry tide.
Great atmospheric piece ME.
Thanks Dusk
Wonderful. As said before, such an atmospheric piece of work.
CLARA X
Much appreciated Clara
