Another Good Day to Come.

Goldfinch60

I rose from my slumber,

The dawn was nearly with me.

I drew back the curtains,

Looked out at my world,

And there looking at me

Was the wonder of the moon.

The clear, bright, full moon

Shining its glory on me,

Showing me the light,

The light that was to come.

I knew,

I knew that today would be good,

Today would be wonderful,

As the light of the moon,

Shone its protection over me.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Came across another jazzer yesterday - Tord Gustavson, if you want to relax put his music on in a darkened room and listen - I did yesterday evening and sailed into music's wonder once more.

      Thank you Michael.

I heard him on Radio Three yesterday morning and thought how good he was so being a member of Amazon Prime music I found his albums on there and listened to one last evening.

ECM recording label has a certain feel to all its productions, unique clarity. Their jazz catalogue is well worth browsing... you tube has many if u just enter ECM in search there.

Sight of the beautiful moon is a refresher. Another of the natural delights which can bring ones own existence into perspective - a mind balancer perhaps.
