Is this ridiculous organism
really what we are?
Our brain possesses powers
beyond imagination.
Yet we seek to cheat and steal,
wage war and control.
Lust for lusts sake and
we procreate irresponsibly.
All made in the image of god?
Is this ridiculous organism
really what we are?
Or is there something finer
to be sought inside us all?

There really is but sadly many never find it - great first read today.
There is a fineness in us all but many are too self indulgent to see it and show it to others.
I could say more on the 'spiritual' side of things - that's the 'only' or best answer I can give. Or a reply, if it may not be an answer.
Jeez.. you ask the million dollar question.... and you ask it so well..

From the beginning I've never really believed anything anyone told me, so I'm well open to us being whatever we can imagine.
