All Was Right.

Goldfinch60

Sitting in the care home,

My lover at my side,

Her friend sitting with us,

Chatting and laughing.

The window slightly open,

When it happened.

A feather floated in,

We picked it up

And looked at it in awe,

As I knew,

I knew an Angel was with them,

With them,

Caring for them.

I knew that all was fine,

And all would be okay,

As their friendship was strong,

And all was right in their world.

A fine write Gold. A sign there - a feather from an angel's wing!

              • ANGELA & BRIAN

HI UNCLE ANDY - Thanks for sharing & caring - every thing by Ella is an uplift. We love the mood of the Poem as well. In the sad times in this life - our experience is that God & His Angels always send a little sign (like a Feather) from the Spiritual Dimension to assure You & Your Beloved Joyce that the *Angels are watching over YOU ALL - ALWAYS* - AMEN !

Blessings & Peace to YOU & JOYCE
                Love ANGELA & BRIAN

As far as I am concerned Ella could sing a telephone directory (do you remember them?) and still sound wonderful.

i believe there is a angel or whatever you wish to name it overlooking us all Goldfinch. In my mind i pereceive this as a message/token of reassurance for you from said spirit.

It is as if several things you have been led to by tragedy are slotting into place and your faith is being validated and strengthened.

                  Peace of mind.

                  • Goldfinch60

I totally agree d a, that peace of mind has taken over my life, I know Joyce is safe and happy, I am returning to my life and My Spirit is always there to reassure me in so many ways.

So beautiful, Orchie! We know the angels are there, but getting a sign once in a while is awesome!

                    • Goldfinch60

Please, please do no confuse me with Orchi, I have been trying to get away from him since dinosaurs roamed the earth!
Those signs of angels are so meaningful.

                      Andy.

So sorry Goldfinch!!!! All I can say is that I AM getting older. It's not an excuse, just a statement.
