All have their own views on life,
As do I,
As do you.
You may not agree with them,.
But in life it is important to find peace,
And peace within yourself can be found.
Peace of mind comes to you,
Comes to you by not wanting to change,
Not wanting to change others,
But by simply accepting them,
Accepting them as they are.

Fully agree with you Goldfinch! But sometimes it is hard to accept people the way they are.
Thank you Fred, yes it can be sometimes but most people in this world are good, unfortunately the ones we hear about are the bad ones.
A fine write Gold. Another aspect may be: not needing to be like someone else; not needing to struggle to copy them; there's one of them already - one's enough!
We would not be ourselves, we would just be a copy of them.
Who said it? Sounds Oscar Wilde-ish (yep, it is): 'Be yourself; everyone else is taken'.
I've taken a bit of a different angle here to you poem, I realise.
Nice piece. I do agree in general but some people and their opinions are just bloody annoying.

GOOD MORNING MON UNCLE ANDY - ANGELA HERE (11:30pm almost Saturday !) Brian & I love the DB Quartette (never seen them live !) The DBQ proves that FOUR is a perfect number for a Quartette ! Love your Mantra its one I adopt - both BRIAN & I are accused of seeing some good in everyone even BORIS & TRUMP !
