It is there to buy!
You could be the owner,
The owner of a Botticelli.
It is up for sale,
So buy it now,
It is quite cheap,
Quite cheap if you have the cash,
The cash to spare.
It is only twenty four and a half,
Twenty four and a half million,
Twenty four and a half million pounds.
Go on,
You can afford it

- Comment from author about the poem: I was going to buy it but I already have a Botticelli by a friend of mine, Fred Botticelli.

If you have to look at the price tag you know you cannot afford it!
So true, we have shops like that around us with no prices shown in the window display - never been in one.
I think I'll paint my own.
I am sure that you could Michael. To be quite honest I don't like it that much, unlike the one you put on this site today which I DO like.
That one which quite large is now displayed in a large hall not far away from where I live. It led to another commission which I'll post tomorrow.
Didn't we buy a painting for a similar price in 1066, of Harold and his 'accident'? I think we should really buy this painting!
It's so annoying where price tags are not included. They've got to tell us the price anyway at some stage.
Did we know Botti? Oops, made myself swoon now, calling him that!
Na I don't think i'll bother...
Where would I put Mona?
Well that is true, I would have to move Venus as well
Blimey..... not bad at all when you consider the offensive price tags many football players are expected to fetch..... I know what I would prefer if I had the dosh..... N
True Neville, how can anybody be worth so much money?
Do you mind??? I'm still saving up to paint the stairs!
Sorry d a, that portrait will have to wait, you could hang it at the top of the stairs.
