Come and be the Mad Hatter
No such thing as bad weather
Lost in the who's all tangled together
The imagination is up for whatever
A billion lies or a billion dreams
We are just a choice in between
Everything teaches and all get taught
Nothing is left out, not even a thought
At beginning there is and end, at the end a new beginning
When you win you can still be losing, and a loss can still feel like winning
All you know is what you need to know
Wherever you lay your hat is your home
Never forgetting to make that change
Be it sun, wind, snow or rain
We are all mad with not one "who" the same, the only connection is we play on the same stage.
I thought I'd up and fly away but a little bird told me I had to much to say
Now I've flown right back with a rat a tat tat
Hitting you all with love of my baseball bat!
Home run or strikes, I'm standing in my own light
Ready to brush shoulders with whoever is in line
I've sat in the gutter of the valley next to the shadow of death
Walked back out to climb a mountain of love without regret
Now I'm sitting right here smack bang in middle
Ready to keep learning how to fiddle!..
Windows or doors I can't keep my feet on the floor
The only way to stay truly grounded is write a bit more
As the strings I play and the words I say, fly with my spirit easier into outer space
Where I don't wish to write about my depression anymore
I've walk back through all the open doors, to where I am now, going forward through more!
Flickering back I can see one thing, fear of others judgements sat down on me!
Now I'm down here with my cuppa tea, no time can even bother me.
Room at my table with Infinite biscuits of opinions, no judgement undunkable all risks are taken
For we all have our records of melancholy to play, unique to our truth, not one in the same!
Spray it with how we see it, let the emotions run free. This consciousness is a gift of our individuality, to say I am! the "S" in supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Absorbing & reflecting in this one big fishbowl of lies & dreams, hopes & fears.
Filled up by the endless river of tears, left in an ocean of love to deep for words & ears.

- Comment from author about the poem: It did not feel right to keep me inside, so I've put the last few days together because... Well I'm free to do as I like! I do have message to all that read this or any of my words. It's about the journey not the destination, I don't know everything but I know me! blessed to have lived with all on this dark and light rock of fun.

Thank you my poetic blister for all your help!
You’re very welcome!
This is Dan at his absolute best so far! I love this piece, filled with pearls of wisdom gained from looking deep into yourself.... You make it sound easy but you and many of us know it's a tough job with plenty heartaches along the way.
"No judgement undunkable" a pearl of wisdom m8.
Most definitely into my favourites, for this is a true expression of Dan for what Dan is.
If only we could encourage more folk to take a journey like yours, there would be so many many more people at peace with themselves and the world at large.
Sincerely
Always good to know a fav comes from words and a spirit I admire. You my friend sir with my soul with ever word you use I know is authentic, always deeply appreciated!
