They say all good things come to an end
and the thought of it’s driving me round the bend
for once they’ve gone without a trace
will there ever be new ones to take their place?

Yes new ones (life) are always there in front of you.
A fine write and pic M. Nope, seems not - going by theme of my poem yesterday - all is old, and 'has been' - from an Old Testament view of things anyway. Miss Berles says 'Who you calling a has-been?!'
Clever and surprisingly thought provoking piece today ME.
New ones will never take the place of what used to be. Indeed new ones can be a negative reminder of how the originals disappeared.
