I was playing croquet yesterday afternoon in glorious sunshine, no coat required. Winter seems a long way off to me.

Good write Michael and a fabulous artwork.

It certainly is a lovely time of year when the sun shines but at the moment it's peeing down.

Good Morning UNCLE MIKE ~ Thanks for reminding US about Winter ! Please add a POEM (perhaps WINTER ?) to our latest FUSION on SEASONS thanks ! Its ironic ~ It was SPRING when I arrived in NZ last week (we are now in Hawaii) and it will be Mid-Autumn in Essex ~ when we arrive home in Essex ! Poem *BLUE HAWAII* tomorrow but no Hula Girls. Angela now wants to stay in HONOLULU for a YEAR ! Hawaii doesnt have Seasons just Pineapples & Pina Colladas ! Love the Paintng and the HAIKU both capture the essence of WINTER Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ! Angela has three suitcases of xs luggage ~ but I still love her !

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours
      Love Brian & Angela

Thanks for the update - yes winter approaches too fast. In the meantime safe travels both of you.

        Wonderful skyline picture ME.

Today brilliant sunshine wakes my autumn day. Golden leaved sunshine days are an invitation to stroll into the woods with camera which i will try to do later on.

Amazing what thoughts can flow from a few lines of yours. The things we stir in others minds with our pieces.

I guess you hit a spot with yours today.

Had to defrost the car windows this morning - then the weak sun did warm things uo a bit - and now it's raining again. The river in our village flooded yesterday coming right up our Lane but luckily no houses wre affected. Thanks dusk.

'Tis still a Thursday of mists and mellow fruitfulness yet. You staggered back in amazement at those poetic words there?!
I got me coat out now anyway, until probably about May at least.

Would you believe our local postman still wears short trousers. I watch him with incredulity from the window where there is a nice hot radiator.

Why yes, so does a postie round here. Does Shorty Berles wear shorts?

              • Michael Edwards

                Freeza Berles does

Thanks Neville - i wish i had more time to write longer pieces but they take a lot of work and my art is taking most of it at the moment - another exhibition to mount toomorrow.

Good luck tho I am sure it will be another great success..
