Breaking Bread
As you live and breathe in your
World I live and breathe in mine
Yet the distance set between us
Marks empty space and time
Tho since you have your life ahead
And mine is hanging by a thread
Come my friend and break some bread
Before I have to love and leave you….

A message of companionship offered to a traveller upon their own journey to destiny.
Somehow this is a very comforting read.
Reflecting upon my thoughts I realise that I actually do regard all life forms in this way. But i guess that's just a part of faith in reincarnation.
What a marvel it could be to be reincarnated, with a conscience, as a tree or a coral.
What a lovely message DA.. it seems we have certain similar beliefs and values.... All Good Things to ya and truly.... N
I thought you was having Communion there - bread and wine?!
At one church I was flummoxed. They asked 'Are you receiving?' Am I a radio signal? But they meant do I intend to receive the bread and wine today?
I hear ya loud and clearly.... over and out ...
Pathos runs through these lines of invitation and what a mantra to chose is the breaking of bread together for lasting friendship - an really emotive read Nev............
Thanking you my dear Fay and muchly so, I might add....
Neville

A loaf of Bread
A Glass of Wine
And YOU beside my side !
BRIAN HERE NEVILLE - Thanks for caring & sharing
There is something very Cathartic (& Spiritual even ?)
about *Breaking Bread* with a FRIEND or a STRANGER !
ANGELA & I met at a Dance - BUT - It wasnt the SLOW
DANCES that sparked our ROMANCE - But when we
*Broke Bread Together* and swapped experiences
@ Buffet Time ! We also shared a glass of RIOJA
(which is Her Dads Business) and conversed in
Spanish which is both our Second Language. BUT
something special happend when I broke a CRUSTY
COB (with my hands) buttered it and gave her half
to eat with her SOUP (and I with mine) when something
special passed between us. We still do it when SOUP &
CRUSTY COBS are on the MENU - AMEN !
BLESSINGS & PEACE & JOY
Yours BRIAN & ANGELA

Breaking bread with friends or strangers is so rewarding in that you are sharing something in common with people who have trod a different path.
