  Very good and feeling write. Unfortunately those in power who could do something about it will not as there is no money for them in saving the planet. (My cynical side has raised its head again!)

    Angela here - Thanks Uncle Andy pleased you got the MESSAGE ! Its very true what you say ! All BORIS* promises are about more money for High Tech ~ Trains & Technology nothing about reducing CO2 and back to Nature ! We want a FAMILY but we shudder to think of what it will be like for them ! You have every right to be cynical about ALL THOSE IN AUTHORITY !

    GOOD MORNING UNCLE MIKE - Angela here ! YES the MONEY is there if we pooled our Global Assets - CO2 equilibrium (250 ppm) could be restored resulting in ZERO global warming. Globally we should declare war on non-biodegradable plastic and reduced Urbanisation - Desertification - Deforestation - all it need is imagination & Global determination - BUT NO ! Every Cuntry wants to be TECHNALOGICALLY upwardly mobile and *TO HELL WITH PLANET EARTH* ! HUMANITY is too selfish - greedy - inward looking to take a long term altruuistic view and put others first and the PLANET ! Like the Vietnam Protests it is good to see YOUTH taking the lead in the PROTEST against Climate change ! So all we are saying is give EARTH a CHANCE !

  A fine write B&A. If breathing out CO2, why don't some save it by not waffling out a load of hot air?! It's spoiling the ozone ya know! Use the hot air to fill balloons instead, I say! (heehee).

    ANGELA HERE ! Thanks UNCLE STEVE there is much in what you say - lining between the reads ! All FAUNA must exhale CO2 (and inhale O2) while the FAUNA inhale the CO2 (and exhale O2) this reulted (before the industrial Revolution) in an ongoing EQUILIBRIUM of 21% O2 and 250 ppm CO2 and an AMBIENT terrestrial TEMPERATURE of 15C - an optimum balance for life on EARTH ! This caused the Earth to be forever very different from Her Neighbours in Space and the ONLY living Planet in the SOLAR system and probably The Milky Way. Humna Activity - since the Industrial Revelution has caused the CO2 to almost double causing the AMBIENT TEMPERATURE to rise to 16C (Global Warming) with dire consequences ! The damage to the OZONE LAYER (which protects us from cosmic radiation) is due to CFCs (Chlorofluorocarbons) which are now banned ! SO NOW YOU KNOW WHAT THE GLOBAL PROBLEMS ARE ! What the WORLD needs NOW are GLOBAL SOLUTIONS !

  There was a post somewhere inviting people about joining the fight for nature and the earth...but at that time, I honestly put a comment that somehow I wasn't ready yet.
  
  Here, no more plastic straws...but paper straws. The taste isn't that good with...paper.
  
  There are rubbish by the side of the nearby lake, but sure enough there are people assigned to clean up the rubbish regularly.
  
  Those who can't do much, they pray for the earth or bless the earth.
  If a bit more, maybe share or make something to show that they care.
  
  I know there is an organization that does a monthly tree planting activity...but it is far from where I stay.
  Some charity organizations towards nature. People who are...not gonna actually make time for the earth, they contribute by donating money to such organizations.
  
  I got confused before like to which organizations do I donate money to?
  There were stories and theories like donating to animal charity organization if we were cruel to animals...like it's connected to compassion and kindness.
  Also, like if having kidney issues...then donate to charity organizations towards that particular area...and this is in regards to giving and receiving, like if we help such issues to get better, we will get it back it return...but the way might not be as expected.
  
  In the end, these days...I just follow my heart if I felt like donating even the smallest amount of money, I will put the intention (for who) and so much Love into it.
  
  Well, yeah...now I am getting this strong sense that I am not ready yet, if it is for the sake of the earth.
  Some parts of myself...needs to be stable enough.

    THANKS JOKER ~ Sorry to be so late in replying but we have been busy ! Angelas gone home and its now past midnight ! Thanks for your very sincere & reasoned response ! Angela & I are both Scientists and we have studied Global Pollution & Climate Change. We are also both under 40 so we could both still be alive in 2070 when the objective forecasts are *Things could be much worse !* Those who have children & grandchildren will also be concerned because they will live beyond 2100 !Those of us who ~ live in and enjoy the HI-TECH developed World ARE responsible for Climate Change ~ so we have to give something back ! YES we can all use less non-biodegradable PLASTIC to help our local environment ~ plant trees & pray ! There are global Organisations like Friends of the Earth and more specific ones like Water Aid ! As far as World Health is concerned we donate to specific ones like Marie Curie & Headway. To support Youth we support the YMCA. However not everyone feels responsible for the ENVIRONMENT so they dont give ~ OK. If we are fortunate to have *DISPOSIBLE INCOME* it is up to our conscience who or what we donate to ! Angela & I have good well paid jobs and are both SINGLE & Angela is back living at home ~ we do have surplus income ~ BUT ~ we are getting married in April 2020 and will need to rent or buy a Flat or a House and then hopefully we will have Children which wil affect our joint income etc etc However that does not stop us giving generously & cheerfully NOW to Friends of the Earth etc etc. Thanks for caring & sharing !

  Thanks UNSUB for your (mainly) OBJECTIVE CRITICISM.
  The main point I was trying to make in both the Poem and my replys to those who comented is the fact that GLOBAL WARMING and the increase in Atmospheric CO2 is explained by Environmental Physics because CO2 is a Greenhouse Gas ! The other fact is that the rise in CO2 from 250 ppm to 400+ ppm is not a NATURAL phenomina but is caused by a number of ANTHROPOGENIC factors such as DEFORESTATION (because trees absorb CO2 through their leaves ~ for photosynthesis) and burning fossil fuels (which produces CO2 as a by product). Because MAN caused it MAN can reverse it by REFORESTATION and Globally reducing CO2 output ! Im not being discourteous to NATURE just explaining how she works ! One of the outcomes of GLOBAL WARMING is the rapid
  melting of the ICE CAPS which in turn causes SEA LEVELS to rise because water (H2O) is too heavy a molecule to escape the Earths Gravity so it always recycles. An abundance of LIQUID WATER (and the WATER CYCLE) is one of the many unique FACTORS that make Planet Earth ~ A habitable Planet and very very unlike VENUS & MARS our Neighbours in Space ! As for SCIENTISTS being Christians there are MILLIONS of US and we find CHRISTIANITY & SCIENCE to be COMPLIMENTARY not CONTRADICTORY ~ OK ~ It is a question of CHOICE and FAITH !
