There is sorrow that cannot be denied.
The Mom that gave birth to me
And I've known since childhood
Is now gone from this world...
But not within my being.
Our story is present
Beyond reason...
Beyond time...
Beyond any explanations
Whatsoever at all.
There is not much
That anyone can say to me
That will mitigate such loss.
The connection is not gone...
It's only changed.
