Intake - (plus one for Fun Friday)

Fay Slimm.

Intake.

On time's very edge change trembles discreetly
while silent I trace from midnight wait
 the welcome breaking of dawn.

Like haloed eyes light-discs assail horizon
and scatter black patches as tide's shift,
sighting sunrise gilds its form.

Pulsating with force day bursts its aurora
as jeweled flashes on ocean's face
coats breakers in scintilla.

Such awesome intake this token on cliff-top
of unbroken performance as beams
rush to complete dawn's finish.

( Now a bit for Friday Fun-Day)

WINGING IT.

Book me for no one-night Love flight,
sky-heights only serve to bolster my girlish reserve
as quick-flings to me never looked right.

I need no Mile-High incentive,
no pill or potion or passenger-brews for emotion
will make me more passion-attentive.

Force me to use no fore-play things
amusing as toys but only to sort the men from boys
who have not a scrap of understanding.

My amour-taste is plainly for straight,
no chains or spankings make me comply, frankly
nothing could teach me to tease or bait.

Find me a Club that puts Love first
where tenderness renders me fit for surrender
for that I never need any rehearsal.

Winging replete to another plane
with feet grounded by norm's earthy sounds
soars me to bliss again and again.

Show me dimensions where soul
contacts heart and  breaks records for more
larking than mere airborne moments.

Mile-High one-flight guys who like
such delights never quench my kind of thirst
for this girl prefers earthier love life.

GOOD EVENING FAY ~ Love the Picture and *INTAKE* ! In NATURE nothing is ever static. Dawn to dusk ~ Autumn to Winter ~ Egg to Chicken to Hen. Always changing and you capture the dynamic of change in this excellent Poem !
WINGING IT ! We all have to thank UNSUB for suggesting an *MPS FUNDAY* to lift the melancholy following the removal of OUTBACK from MPS. Your witty contribution sure is *MILE HIGH* ~ Nudge nudge ~ Elbow elbow ~ SAY NO MORE ! Thanks for engaging !

          Blessings & Peace & Joy
          Love ANGELA & BRIAN

Dear Fay Slimm, your poem is filled with the visual beauty of the surroundings. The Nature provides poetry in motion to all. Just looking at the Four Seasons it creates a colorful poem itself...Beautiful poem. The second poem has a deeper meaning yet! I am into it with my whole heart. "Find me a Club that puts Love first"~ LOVE is around us, Dear poetess, I see it with my eyes. Great metaphors in your written verse...Fascinating read...Thank you...Zuzanna Musial
