Tune: Thornbury

('Thy hand, O God, has guided')

Psalm 41 parts

***********

Blessed they that do help the poor

The LORD will help them sure

Will deliver them in time

Of trouble, their life's rhyme

Shall know His hand, His guiding

They praise to Him shall bring

He will preserve such, and will keep

Alive, His humble sheep

They shall be blessed on the earth

Who give the poor their worth

Where they can tend to needy

And have resources, see

To bring some of God's comfort

They needy souls have sought

Enemies shall not o'er them win

Nor cause their fall in sin

The LORD will help us when we

In need or sickness be

Where such have looked on lowly

To aid, from burdens free

He will bring strength and healing

Restoring, we shall sing

Again of His love, mercies

With this His grace agrees

By this I know you favour

When my enemies stir

They shall not triumph o'er me

For you my Saviour be

Blessed be your name e'erlasting

Lord God of everything

Amen, all heaven and earth say

you reign now and alway

GOOD MORNING UNCLE STEVE ~ Great Hymn and a great Psalm to lift our Spirits on a very FROSTY MONDAY MORNING ~ AMEN !

I believe that HE who gives of HIMSELF
      For the sake of others
      Who demonstrates genuine concern
      For those less fortunate
Is ESPECIALLY blessed of GOD ~ AMEN !

Blessings & JOY to YOU & YOUR Faithful Fido
