Tune: Servant Song
('Brother, sister, let me serve you')
Micah 4 v.1-5 & 5 v.2
***********
In last days it shall come to be
The mountain of the LORD, see
Mount of His house shall be made high
Established with no deny
On the top of mountains it shall
Be,and all shall know it well
Exalted above the hills, then
Peoples shall flow to it, men* (*mankind)
Humankind of many nations
Of all backgrounds and stations
Shall say, Come let us up mount go
And we thus the LORD shall know
He will teach us, His house, Temple
'Tis a house of prayer for all
And we will walk in His paths for
From [Mount] Zion shall go His law
And His word from Jerusalem
Shall go forth, and be to them
As their guidance, and the LORD shall
Judge, His enemies shall fall
He shall rebuke nations strong for
He Judge unto every shore
Swords they shall beat into plowshares
To gather good wheat midst tares* (*weeds)
And spears beat into pruning knives
Time of His harvest arrives
Nation shall not lift up sword for
They shall then learn war no more
But they shall sit under their vine
Picture be of bliss divine
And under their fig tree they bide
In the Lord's love, peace, reside
For the LORD of hosts has this said
Though each walk by their god led
But we shall walk in the name sure
Of the LORD our God e'ermore
Bethlehem, though little you be
Yet shall come a Ruler free
From you, the Christ-child who has been
From e'erlasting time foreseen

Thanks M. She is in the Kingdom of Syllables - whatever, and wherever that is?!
You've come to the end of this song - after 10 verses. I went on a bit!
Good one Orchi. It was good to read he conversation between you and Unsub.
Thanks Gold. You yourself, can't have disposed of all your 'seeds of faith' surely? Or you would hate church, and not want to even meet with any friends there.
MY faith is with My Spirit, it is the organised christian church that has failed me.
