School Daze

Bragee

Being in class is like being a fish in the sea,

And sleep is like the angry wave that overtakes me.

Some people surf the wave but I am not one.

The wave takes me down, holds me under and I cannot run.

Separated from the rest of the school of fish that at one point surrounded me.

I am lost in a dream trapped under a wave but somehow at peace.

So GOODNIGHT my friend until the current washes me ashore.

Where I’ll open my eyes to a stern look from a professor who is also pointing at the door!
