What's in me

Poetic Dan

I love being able to do what I do but this job has become more about you!

I don't want anyone to hold my hand but my heart has its own plan

To turn my words into food, hold no thought back it's all aloof

You want my credentials but its in every breath I've taken

Need to know my approach yet I'm not the one mistaken

I've never been anything I couldn't put my mind too

Some how I'm still searching for my new dreams

As this path is no longer fulfilling the growth I need

Yet I can't step away from something that pays the bills

If only all my writings could jump into a book I have in my mind

The few poems turn into children's fun play & rhyme

I've been told many times I'm wiser than I know

One day I'll unlock it all but for now I'll keep on scraping along

Trying to prove my worth to the rest my species

For the rest of nature can already senses what's in me

Super write Dan, I am sure that in a short while all your dreams will come true and all will be great in your life.
