Goldfinch60

The distant dark clouds,

Formed in a straight horizon,

Highlighted the sun.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I was driving along the road a couple of days ago and the clouds on the horizon were in a parallel line to the horizon and the sun shone behind them highlighting the line with brightness.

A fine write and view to have seen Gold.

Thanks Orchi, it surely was, I wish I could have taken a picture of it but it is frowned upon to take photographs while driving.

I saw a cloud formation in the shape of Africa one Sunday on the way to church. Then at the service, unbeknown to me, a couple were about to set off for missionary work there! I didn't 'cheat' by knowing about it before the event, and just thinking of Africa on the way to church!

These things happen in our lives, looking at cloud formations can be so inspiring.

You might see one of a syphon - to warn you of me, the phantom tipple-waterer!

Clouds can be so inspiring when we look at them, unfortunately many people do not see them.

                Andy
