Herein is love, 'tis not that we
Loved God, but He loved, see
Loved us first, and has sent His Son
Redemption work has done
For He the propitiation
For our sins, each nation
Makes peace, the bridge 'tween God and man
Does what no other can
Beloved, if God has loved us so
We ought to, this we know
To love one another, so be
We live obediently
We can know and we can believe
God's love and it receive
God is love, who in love abides
Abides in Him, resides
Resides God in those who do love
By His Spirit, the dove
Our love perfected, that we may
Be bold in judgement day
No fear in love, for love perfect
Casts out fear, no defect
For fear has torment, they that fear
Not perfect in love here
We love God, for He first loved us
Has sent His Son to us
Lord, our love receive, e'en if small
Your love greatest of all
