THESE TEN RESOLUTIONS ARE BASED ON THE TEN RESOLVES OF SCOUTING
ANGELA & I WERE INVOLVED WITH THE SCOUT MOVEMENT WHEN YOUNG !
1. TRUSTWORTHY ~ We all need to be Trusted & to Trust OTHERS
2. LOYAL ~ We need to be Loyal to our Families ~ Employers & Country
3. HELPFUL ~ WE should never be too BUSY to help OTHERS
4. BROTHERLY ~ We should treat OTHERS as our Brothers & Sisters
5. COURTEOUS ~ We should show RESPECT to OTHERS in all circumstances
6. KIND ~ Society is becoming more Selfish & Aggressive ~ show KINDNESS
7. OBEDIENT ~ If we all obeyed Law & Order ~ We*d have a Better World
8. CHEERFUL ~ Count your Blessings ~ it will make you SMILE
9. THRIFTY ~ HAPPINESS is *Living within ones ASSETS* ~ AMEN !
10. PURE in Body & Mind ! Always be in control of ONES ACTIONS !

Many of us have been members of the International Scout Movement
and are familiar with these TEN RESOLVES ! Characteristics which
make LIFE better for everybody. We used to renew them every Year
to remind ourselves how we should react in SOCIETY to bring Honour
to the SCOUT MOVEMENT & Our Country. We think they still form a
Positive Basis for our GENERAL RESOLUTIONS in 2020.

It reminded US of how 2020 looks at the START of the YEAR ... BUT
if we put the TEN RESOLUTIONS into PLACE all abstractions will be

Dib, dib, dob, dob! Can Fido join the Scouts, as a watch-dog? He may be very fierce! And probably stricter rules than these - no merriment, ardour, or such-like, and not too much fun! lol.
C'mon now Fido, have a new year bone! Woof!
Thnaks UNCLE STEVE ~ Scouts do favour DOGS more than CATS and one Troop I was in w had a BLIND SCOUT with a GUIDE DOG ~ interestomg ! Fido would be very welcome as a Hon. Member because he has all the TRAITS I mentiom in the POEM ! He might be a bit of a DAMPNER round the camp fire ! Camp fire songs can contain innuendos ! Please keep ANDY at the top of your PRAYER LIST !

BRIAN HERE ~ Thanks ! UNCLE MIKE ~ pleased you approve of our *borrowing* your latest ABSTRACT ! When we had completed the Poem we were looking for a suitable Poem and when I saw Yours ~ I immediatley felt it illustrated the CHAOS of 2020 which we hope & pray will all be resolved by 2021 ~ You might care to paint a less abbstact one to show we have made progress. We will send your fee to the Giude Dogs for the BLIND !
