That sound drew me,
Drew me from my words
Into the glory of music.
The sound entered my heart,
All I could do is sit and wonder,
Wonder at the sound
Produced from love,
The love of music.
My day started with words,
Which turned to music,
That created these words.

- Comment from author about the poem: As I was reading your poems when this piece of wonderful music came on the radio, " Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana, Pietro Mascagni". A Good Day will be had due to this music.

Music surely takes you places 🎶
It sure does.
A lovely piece of words and music Godl.
From my (imaginary) book 'Meanwhile' Subtitled: 1001 daft things': 'It'll be a fine day for all folk; just as long as I don't sing! ' heehee.
Thanks Orchi.
It is my target this year to get you to sing ONE right note by the end of it!
Oh woe! Slow progress. One right note per year? Well, we're both very old from 1066 and before, so we'll make it to a whole song eventually.
For music lubricates our lives.
It surely does d a.
Wentto great New Years concert yesterday - great music with none of the usual la di da Viennese stuff - a medly of duos for violin by Bartok sticks in my mind. Fine observational write Andy.
Such a lovely write, Gold.
