This Must be a Special Day.

Goldfinch60

This must be a special day.

I draw the curtains

And the bright moon

Shines its light upon me,

Bringing light to my world.

I turn on the radio

And Mozart is there,

Bringing music to my heart.

Such wonderful music

There to greet me

Into this new day,

A day that will be wonderful.

This must be a special day.

A fine write Gold. Did you ever awake to the Dawn Chorus of me singing, and go back to bed?! heehee.

Thanks Orchi. No the robins and blackbirds drown out any errant noises.

It is a special day - we had a new fireplce fitted earlier in the week and I came into the living room and thought this looks so welcoming - but every day is a special day.

        That is grate (sic) Michael.

Yes every day is special in our lives.

Ah those days. But they're all there ready for us to make them as special as we like.
