the fogs of Jayne

dusk arising

the groaning call of shipwrecked steel

cries to moonlights baited breath

a broken light's blink out of sync

silhouettes the rocks of death

slowly in, drift the fogs of Jayne

ensnaring shallowed pools

no shadow sways nor pipers trill

as she walks the dance of fools

no footprint seen to follow

she drifts beyond the shore

that ghost of Jayne McGellan

the lighthouse keepers whore

words tell this wicked temptress

ensared a steamship master

who blinded by the storms of lust

met his rocky 'ever after'

no fool dares tread the shoreline

when lazy fogs here swirl

many souls met death a courting

that brazen McGellan girl

If you can find her in all that fog. Best take Fido with you. Maybe he will save you from the rocks.

Wonderful tale d a, there are many tales of the sea about the good and the bad ghosts that are there to help or hinder people in boats.
