Michael Edwards

Shafts of weak sunlight

spring cautiously affirming

the seasons design.

    Earlier each morn
The sun comes into our lives
    Spring is almost here.

    Good haiku Michael.

Almost - can't wait. Looking forward to the end of the storms. We have a river running through our village. Upstream the farmers have straightened it's course to capitalise on usable land resulting in loss of flood planes and as a result it floods as it passes our village. The water cuts off one of the roads out of the village and the village school has been threatened withh closure as access is compromised. The bottom of my lane has been under water but thankfully no houses have been flooded and it has some way to come before it gets anywhere near my property but it's worrying nevertheless.

      Thanks Andy

Good Mitwok to You & Yours - Uncle Mike. Love the CRIMSON TULIP - it shouts S P R I N G ! Love the HAIKU - masters of Poetic minimalism ! *Wedding Blues* tomorrow - look out for it ! Brian & I would rather go to Gretna Green and be married over the anvil - but Noblese Oblige ! Both Brian (2nd floor flat) and I (Casa de Mama y Papa) are on Higher Ground so flood free. We pray your abode in MH will be a *Dry House*.

Blessings & Peace & Floodfree to You & Yours

      Shadows shortening
      Spring succumbing to Summer
      Supplanting seasons'
Punxsutawney Phil (no relation) has indicated an early Spring. That and a few more Haikus will probably get the job done.
Sorry to hear about the flooding. Stay dry. Lovely poem. - Phil A.
