IN THE LAST CENTURY WE STARTED DATING WHEN WE WERE ABOUT 17 AND CONTINUED UNTIL WE FOUND THE RIGHT PERSON ! IN MY CASE IT WAS ALMOST ANOTHER 17 YEARS ~ I WAS ALMOST 34 ~ WHEN I MET ANGELA !
When I was seventeen
I met my Sweet Prom Queen
The cutest Girl Id ever seen
When I was seventeen !
When I was twenty-one
My sweet Princess had GONE !
Shed found another One
When I was twenty-one !
When I was twenty-three
I courted Sweet Marie
The things she said to me !
BUT ~ she was *Fun & Fancy Free*
When I was twenty-three !
When I was twenty-four
Sweet Marie went off abroad
I dont see her no more
When I was twenty-four
When I was twenty-eight
I almost met my fate with Kate
But she eloped with my best Mate
When I was twenty-eight !
When I was thirty three
Had LOVE eluded ME ?
When an ANGEL I did see
When I was thirty-three !
The first time that we met
A time that I will ne*er forget
A day that I will ne*er regret
Our future is secured ~ My faith in LOVE restored
We*ll marry in the Spring ~ O thank the LORD
I*ll be a DADDY yet !

Ooooo BRIAN - Mio Oso Grande - Muchas Senoritas Bonitas ! Prom Queen - Sweet Marie - Kate and finally ME - I should be so lucky. I have a similar list of Young Men who came & went ! Pleased you saw me as not just as Angela de La Plata but as an Angel - sent from God to be Your Loving Wife. I was 29 (you were 33) so no one could accuse us of being TOO YOUNG. Gracias Angela ~ Amorata mia ! A me gusta que t*ames esta Poema d*Amor. In one sense it is a fun Poema but on the other hand a serious one. In retrospect I know (mano a carazon) that I could not really have married any of my *Amigas* I met in my seventeen Years of dating before I met you ! However each relationship taught me something about love between a Man & a Woman ! So I knew what I was looking for ~ THEN THERE WAS YOU ~ and we both knew our search for a Perfect Lover was over ! We both know our Marriage in April will confirm that and we know we will live happily ever after ~ AMEN
