LONG LEGGED CELERY
In Lidle today in the vegetable isle
I saw a sign that made me smile,
they'd got the spelling wrong of course:
sixty nine pence for celery storks

Did they 'fly' off the shelf.
Andy
And they were delivered by crane.
Was Miss Berles happy about the spelling?
It wos er wot writ it.
Did you Flaming-go and buy some. Outside our local Lidl was a bloke with a van full of loo rolls shouting "Get ya bog rolls 'ere, two fer a fiver, three fer a tenner!". Needless to say the loo roll shelves in store were bare.
I'm not worried about supplies - with so many fatalities there'll be plenty to go round.
Storking up and gannet buying..
wot is the world coming to eh... I believe ya tho tsk tsk
Neville
They don't know about apostrophes either - wot is the world coming to?
