B UTTERFLIES are always beautiful & ephemeral
U K Butterflies are as colourful as our Ladies !
T HEY suddenly appear in MAY ~ dressed up like
T HE Ladies on Ladies Day @ Ascot ~ WICKED !
E VERYONE loves Butterflies ~ they don*t sting or bite.
R ED Admirals ~ nautical & so so exquisite ~ but .......
F OR US Our favourite is the colourful and .......
L OVELY Peacock ! Its wings tipped with peacock plumage
Y OU can*t mistake or miss her ~ so so beautiful !
A LL Butterflies are things of beauty ~ it is .......
R EALLY much more than just their colour ~ They have an
E XCITING *Life Cycle ! Now an EGG ~ Now a CATERPILLAR
N OW a PUPA ~ then suddenly a BUTTERFLY ~ WICKED !
A Miracle that Children can examine for themselves ~ AMEN !

Ah - my favourite too is the peacock but the whole family of UK butterflies are beautiful creations and under threat now for many reasons....... a bitter-sweet read and needed reminder dear duo.

Yes indeed FAY in these days of Climate Change - Urbanisation - Deforestation - removal of Hedgerows and increasing use of Pesticides & Insecticides all insectivora including our beloved indigenous Butterflies & Moths are alas endangered ! Thank GOD - DOLLY PARTON is not an endangered species ! Still a sassy as ever @ 74 !

Thanks for your supportive comment ALAN. Yes Dolly is a very happy Girl and her music is very Blue Grass (Old Country !) She plays about 10 instruments. At 74 she does a lot of touring and still pops up at Dolly World periodically. She is a great Role Model to all in show Business ! She has been married to her Husband Carl Dean for 53 years ! Long may she reign as The Queen of Country !
