Psalm 91 parts

Pace for they who do dwell

Under God's wing, they tell

Of His safe keeping sure

In His shadow e'ermore

There they shall all abide

There they reside

 

Because those who have made

The LORD their refuge staid

The Most High true He be

Their habitation, see

He will protect and keep

Each of His sheep

 

He shall give His angels

Charge o'er us, them he calls

To keep us all our days

Following in God's ways

Prospering, kept from harm

His joyful calm

 

Yet where there be troubles

We shall win through them all

By His grace, His working

For our good, he our King

Share in His sufferings

He us strength brings

  • Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in 6.6.6.6.6.4. metre. Not a well-known hymn - I was unable to find a clip of it. I cannot find an example of 'same tune as...….' either. The earlier poems in this series are in my Archives on here somewhere.
