Moving Me

orchidee

Tune: University College

('Oft in danger, oft in woe')

********

Move me, Lord, your way to know

E'en when listless feelings show

Not comfort in apathy

Settle for, but willing be

To do your will, it to see

When with self it not agree

And too in times of ease, rest

Then too find in you we blest

Where we grow not much, barren

Or life same, tedious, then

Show your light, each step ahead

We still your sheep by you fed

If discouraged, dull, dark, gloom

As if seems a lifeless tomb

Come inspire, reveal, then on

Grow in image of your Son

It not without temptation

But there no weakness, not one

That you unaware not know

You lived amidst us below

Though our path will never be

As difficult as yours, we

Seek with your grace to obey

Ever to Light's endless day
