Readied.
Rose thou hast a virgin's serenity.
Thy mein over-sewn with velvet redolence
sweetens the flavour of fresh petal-soft nectar
in folds of coverted message.
Essence pervades like unction's therapy.
May the morrow's wed oils regale thy bedding
as maidenhood waits in finery, shylessly scented
and with hidden aroma drenched.
Thus thou stand readied and smelling of love
So haste Sir Knight with thine ardour uncovered.

A fine write Fay. I'm not getting anywhere. Me armour has rusted, and I can't get it off, let alone being ardorous - if that's even a word?!
The problems old Orchi has. lol.
Wherefore art thy certificate of X ? Forsooth my doublet dampens as perspiring beads course my being.
Another big tick Fay
Err sorry - I meant another big tick for the poem. lol
This is a nicely languaged piece Fay. A wonderful reading experience.

Angela here - Good Evening FAY ! Love the visual - Looks like me @ the Hospital Fairy Dress Ball @ Christmas ! This is a very enticing Poem - to read - for a Young Couple about to get Married !
You have encapsulated into poetic language - the Biochemistry of how the libido is raised by Human pheremones and also by the scent of male & female perfumes. On the first night of our honeymoon I will wear nothing but Anais Anais ! Brian & I will consumate our LOVE @ Easter no better time for a Revelation of a New Life & Love ! We have both been very patent & circumspect but NOW our Ardour can (and will) be UNCOVERED ~ AMEN Thanks for Caring & Sharing FAY - I cant wait for my Knight to replace his Armour with Ardour !
Blessings & Peace & Joy
Love ANGELA 💛💛💛💛💛
