EDUCATION ~ EDUCATION ~ EDUCATION 🧡ANGELA 🤍 BRIAN 💙 A LAMENT SONNET !

ANGELA & BRIAN

UNTIL TODAY THE UK CONSIDERED THAT COVID 19 COULD BE HELD IN CHECK WITHOUT CLOSING EDUCATION ~ DESPITE THE FACT THAT MANY COUNTRIES WERE !  HOWEVER THIS WEEK IT SEEMED INCONGRUOUS TO ADVISE PEOPLE TO AVOID SOCIAL GATHERINGS WHILE SCHOOLS WERE STILL OPERATING !

Education !  Education !  Education !

Was how Tony Blair described where the focus

Of His Government would be when he was

Prime Minister !  Brian & I both had

An excellent Education ~ which has

Enabled us to obtain ~ interesting

And fulfilling Occupations. Brian

In Teaching Applied Science ~ and I in

Physiotherapy. We consider ................

Education is the most important

Gift ~ We can give to future Generations !

We admired the Governments resistance

To close Schools ~ but now the axe has fallen.

COVID 19 has a lot to answer for !

I had education in singing lessons, but it's not helped. I'm on lesson number 258947512 now! heehee.

Remember, we are talking about the government who for the most part, pander to big business. Delaying closing schools has meant more mothers working. my belief is that the non closure of schools earlier has back-fired.

Remember that education is probably fundamental but experience takes precedence and you cannot teach experience. In my life I have been with and worked with highly educated people but that is all they know and just cannot function in the normal world.

Speaking to my grandchildren (well their parents actually) I am encouraged by the innovative ways in which schools are putting learning packages into place via the internet. I appreciate that not all have access but they are not forgotten with printed exercises etc
    being handed out.
