Tune: St Leonards
('May the mind of Christ my Saviour')
Based on a Collect = Formal Prayer
*******
Lord, you who sure be more ready
To hear us, than we to pray
Inspire us, that we pray steady
Continue each day
And you give more than we deserve
Or desire, please may be small
Strengthen us that we shall still serve
You and hear your call
So hear, answer us by your grace
Do what best for us shall be
That we your will, purposes trace
And your guidance see
Light of life, come, upon us shine
Clear the darkness, dispel night
Branches biding in you, the vine
Bring good fruit to sight
