GOD IS MY SHEPHERD 💛 ANGELA 💛 A 6 4 4 SONNET

ANGELA & BRIAN

OUR LIVES changed dramatically yesterday (21.03tting m.20) Brian & I got the KEYS to our very First House !  Despite COVID - we*re gearried - in April. We need a House for US & our Cat - Smokey !  Brian will live in it until we*re married. The House is near our Folks - Church & Work. So far GOD has supplied all our needs - AMEN !

MY GOD - You are the only SHEPHERD I need

To guide me - each day - through Life & my Job

You*re with me in all my relationships

With BRIAN - My Family - Friends & Clients

You lead me through green Pastures & Still Waters

You provide my needs - and I am Satisfied !

In the current circumstances _ working

with COVID - I do not fear Death - but do .......

My best to keep all my Patients mobile.

With a symphony of empathy - I comfort them !

You prepare a positive Life for me

I live righteously - to honour your Name

I have Faith - that when this life is over

I*ll dwell with GOD in Heaven for ever !

Thanks for reading - comments please - Love ANGELA  💛💛💛💛💛

This poem is based on Psalm 23 and is presented as a 6 4 4 blank verse Sonnet - mainly in iambic pentameter - ten syllables per line. David was a Shepherd so he knew what he was talking about !  David knew how much he had to care for his Flock - so he used the analogy to describe God*s care for us. AMEN ! I learned much about Shepherds during my 15 months - in New Zealand - which has ten times more Sheep than People !

Where was your god when Joyce was given Dementia and died!!!!

    • ANGELA & BRIAN

Angela here - My GOD is omnipresent - and I pray for People everyday - BUT - I have to accept that sometimes God says no and takes Choice Saints (like Joyce) to their eternal rest.

I have now posted the Poem - you might like to read it - OK
Blessings Peace to You & Yours
      Love Angela 💛💛💛💛💛

I could say the same about J. and H. two church women. There were prayers, but they both passed away with cancer.
Have to be humble, and say: We don't know 'why'.
It's a fine write and blessing though, A&B.
Fido won't supply all you needs - he got to have his Bonios first!

Angela, thanks for the praise, I wish I get enough strength to unconditionally worship Him, for better or worse.

This is cool is many ways.

I mean that I never told anyone to be careful or be safe, because they are spreading like...worry and fear.

Then, I saw Tim Tebow posted this on his Instagram and I quite agree with it:
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble."
          Psalm 46:1

Regardless of the source like the religion it is associated with it, it basically tells us to hold on to God or depend on God even in times of trouble...and it increases our faith in God...and that is a very positive thing.

          -

Even in your post here, it is like...even though you mentioned about COVID-19, you don't focus on it. Instead, you push it aside and focus on GOD.

I kinda like these sort of people.
