bruises

dusk arising

I've seen the bruises
and i'm sworn to secrecy.
She is a loving mother
her babies need a father.
I'm sworn to secrecy,
impotent to do anything.
Anything i could do
would only add to her pain.

    A sensitive write dusk.
With this crisis, it's two-way. Don't you come near me, and I won't come near you - best for both of us.
This is one sort of angle on this poem maybe.

      Dusk,

      So very true!
As a very dear friend of mine once said to me, “You’ll have to walk a mile in my shoes before you can understand.”

I understood what she said and supported her the best I could.

      Take care!

Wonderful write Dusk. It’s unfortunate how often these situations arise. A decision is often a lot harder than it seems to be.

Outside looking in things can appear black and white but life is rarely so kind. Thank you for commenting here.

Very strong write d a, as others have said all you can do is support her in her hours of need.

Was a result of watching Eastenders, not a part of my life thank goodness. Thanks again for commenting on my stuff here.
