I sit quietly on the ground
My back resting on a grand old oak tree
The stream flows gently before me
It bubbling water singing in sibilance,
The wonder of nature all around me
As new life springs into being
The buds almost growing before my eyes
As the rebirth of spring is before me.
The birds fly from tree to tree
The glory of their voices enhancing my world
As I sit and become one with natures glory,
A song come to me that belongs in this world
And in my mind I sing it
Knowing that my life with nature
Is so wonderful as I sing
“What a wonderful world”

The 'church' of god is all around you in this piece Mr G. What better way to worship than to be among the glories being mindful and then upon reflection writing this piece today. Spreading the good word.
Thank you d a, our god can be seen in so many ways, especially just sitting with nature. The Native Americans has it right.
Andy.
Your lovely lines show how we can find blessings in these testing times - my dear friend --- communing with nature draws us closer to God.... a beautiful first read of my morning.

just back from a long walk across the estate of a local landowner - sheer joy to be out there and now back with a cup of tea.
Walking with nature is so wonderful, as is a good cup of tea.
