Innocence Through Music

M.E.M.

So young

fragile.

The harsh world

has not touched her

yet.

Happy,

full of smiles

she's wide eyed

and hopeful.

Light as air.

Has yet to be pushed down.

Her hands reach up to the stars and beyond.

Let her stay innocent.

keep your innocence little one.

Keep it close to your heart,

for as long as you dare.

Such a good poem, the innocence of childhood is so wonderful and in this day and age seems not to last long.
