Days in Life.

Goldfinch60

Every day in our lives is different,

And none of them is wasted.

Each day has a meaning within us,

So never regret a day in your life.

Each good day give you happiness,

The odd bad days give you experience.

We do have those worst days in our life

But even they can give you lessons.

Then there are days so special

That become the best days,

And those best days give you memories.

        Hello Goldfinch60,

A wonderful write and so true of life.

Its only in recent years that I am seeing my bad experiences and periods in life as episodes that have strengthed my character.

Gosh, many years ago I would get angry.

        Keep healthy and writing.
        FineB

Thank you FineB. It is from experience that we learn to become what we are - experience cannot be taught.

Coincidentally i took up ukelele last year. A £9.99 purchase in Aldi. The strings were awful and were quickly replaced. It's very rewarding to reach out and grab it (always within a metre of where i sit relaxed) and sing along. Just basic stuff. Mines one of the tiny ones (can't believe i just typed that) and as a six footer i need a bigger one (nor that) and i shall be getting one when they allow me out to endanger the world again.

I totally share the words of your writing today. You and me are blessed with a positive outlook though and i do believe that makes a tremendous difference.

I wish i could be out and about offering help in these times. I'd love to make someones day a special day with a favour, a chat and maybe a shared cuppa.... let's see what the future holds.

            • Goldfinch60

We certainly do seem to have a similar outlook on our lives, I am always positive even after bad things happen, I will always look forward.

I have seen the Ukelele Orchestra live and they are brilliant. I too have a ukelele and played it for a while I may try again but I have taken up the clarinet again, I used to play it many years ago, yesterday, when I gave it a go, the sound was much better than it has been since i started a couple of weeks ago so the Mozart Clarinet Concerto may be there somewhere. LOL
