like a teenager
falling all over you
in the back of
john's old cortina
giggling, kissing
both of us
three sheets
to the wind
and i'm feeling
oh so young
- separated
from a long
dead marriage -
living again...
a memory
i shall never forget
. ........that's what love will do

Those memories will always be there in our lives and may the good ones always come to the fore.

I think something went wrong with the music clip so i replaced it... hope u like this one..... My poem today recounts being driven home through farmers field tracks (drink driver staying off the highway) from the Anchor at Fladbury to Lower Moor.... very local to you. Of course a cortina going across fields was being thrown all over the place.... a very happy, silly memory that's stayed with me for 35 years.
Describer to a tee this feeling of second-time round according to memory being the best - - nought like like a teenager in an ol' cortina love nest. - - great read D.A.
I forgot to mention the car was in motion being driven through farmers fields on the way home from the pub (driver avoiding the police and their breathalysers on the roads). 35 years ago.
Had to make do in an old Ford Anglia - nice one dusk
Those 105e anglias were something... the doors were so heavy that they drooped, you had to lift them up to shut them.
This is summat just a little bit extra special...
because it does exactly what it say's on the label ….
