ANGELA & BRIAN

THE VIDEO EXPLAINS ~ That it is NOT the ALCOHOL that gives RED WINE its Health Benefits. It is due to POLYPHENOLS (like RESVERATROL) which are derived from grape skin ~ that gives RED WINE its therapeutic properties. Always drink WINE & other Alcoholic Drinks in moderation.

MI PADRE ES - A Spanish Wine Merchant

I was brought up with - Red Rioja Wine

One glass per day - two if you are an Adult

Three is considered rather excessive !

Red Wine is considered to be  *Good for your Health !*

It improves Kidney function and Eyesight

Lowers blood glucose and controls Diabetes

Eliminates harmful Bacteria and contains Polyphenols

Which destroy free radicals and minimises Cancer.

Red Wine is also an APHRODISIAC !

It ameliorates the functioning of the Blood System

It assists Breathing and subdues Asthma !

It is proven that *Red Wine is Good for You

But remember *Please Dont Drink & Drive !*

Do you invent 'facts' on the fly? Red wine prevents cancer and diabetes?
Fiction... are you a scientist with an L plate? I can't disagree that red wine is good for you though. I haven't dared to drink a glass of it since my cancer treatment though.

ANGELA HERE - Good Morning DA - Thanks for your objective comment - much appreciated as always. I have modified my wording to *CONTROLS DIABETES* and *LIMITS CANCER* - OK ? Being half-Spanish I get over enthusiastic extolling the virtues of the Meditteranian Diet ! Olive Oil - Citrus fruits - Lots of Veggies and of course Red Wine. As a Physio I advise this to my Clients who are (mainly) recovering from Orthopedic Surgery.

Thanks again for your helpful comments

ANGELA HERE - Thanks for your comment Uncle Mike. Wine is a Natural Product and all FRUIT (including grapes) have therapeutic Properties. Red wine (beause of the Polyphenols) is much more therapeutic than White. This property of Red Wine give Men a good excuse for its inclusion in the Weekly Shop ! No need to feel guilty just enjoy !

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours
