Tune: Stuttgart
('Earth has many a noble city')
Psalm 36 v.7-12
********
How great, O LORD, and loving-kind
In large measure do we find
You to be and therefore we do
Trust 'neath your wings now anew
You give satisfaction, fullness
River of your pleasures bless
Us, for with you is fount of life
Here found peace, freedom from strife
For in your light we shall see light
All revealed clear to our sight
Continue your loving-kindness
In your mercy e'en to us
And show upright your righteousness
Your goodness we shall confess
Proud and wicked shall fall, they be
Not able to rise, we see
