Sakura rain

myself and me

One, two, three... ...

Tiny off-pink pedals

Waltz with breeze

Whirling

Slow...

Fast...

Floating

Up...

Down...

Swaying

Left...

Right...

Back...

Forth...

Lightly, very lightly

Gently, most gently

Silently, quite silently

Softly, so softly

Falling into earth

Dreaming

At the gated entry to our local titled member of the village there is a Prunus which is shedding its petals right now. Walked past it today and despite the drizzle the scene was stunning - a gravelled roadway turned pink. Love the poem which took me right back there.

I have one Sakura tree in my front yard. I would lost myself when watching the petals falling, Thank you.

What a wonderful petally picture you pen of the time when pink covers the ground - -- it must be great to stand and watch that waltz in the breeze.

The rain of petals can be so wonderful and so inspiring.
