WATERFALLS ARE WICKED ~ A 6 8 6 VIGNETTE !

ANGELA & BRIAN

EVERY COUNTRY HAS WATERFALLS ~ Some a Frothy Whoosh like the LODOR FALLS (English Lake District) and others an Infinite Torrent like the Niagara Horsehoe Falls (Canada) but they are both WATERFALLS !  The most spectacular Falls in England are the Ingleton Falls (see video) in Yorkshire which are open all Year !  In a 5 mile round walk you can visit 10 named Falls and lots of little ones. The beauty of British Falls ~ is if you FALL IN you never drown you just get WET. You can get behind them & (in your Bathers) climb up & down (some of) them ! The Photo shows the SNOW FALLS ~ Ingleton ~ One of the best Vertical Drops.

AT THE HEAD OF THE FALL ~ Water must succumb

To Gravity ~ Potential Energy turning to .......

Kinetic Energy as Water ~ Elixir of Life

Tumbles  Mumbles  Fumbles over rocky outcrops

That bestow uniqueness on each & every FALL

And ensure its own niche in *The Falls Anthology*

FALLS change every Day & every Season

Sometimes in Winter ~ morphing into *An Ice Fall*

Bizarre fossilization ~ rainbow hued in sunlight

Then it melts ~ and is in full spate again in Spring

Some days - slow - sluggish - slimy in the drought

Of High Summer ! And locked by lots of leaves

In the Fall ! Some days the bonus of a Rainbow

Each fall-drop a prism to diffract the SUNLIGHT !

But its not just Sight ~ each FALL has a unique Sound.

The ROAR of Niagara ~ splish - splash of Swallow Falls

Gentle murmur of Lodor ~ behind Swiss Hotel

Every FALL has its own unique identity

Secure in your sub-conscious ~ in mode you saw it !

Please revere your OWN FALLS ~ Part of your HERITAGE  !!

A fine write A&B. I was there during the fossilization. Awww, why do they say my middle name is 'Fossil'? lol.

The magic of water and all that it sustains .

YES indeed UNCLE MIKE ! Eery person on the Planet ststistically has a Lake Windermere full ~ but we must never ever take it for granted ! Water - as you know - as a *Water Colourist* - has a high surface tension ~ it sticks to the Brush & the Paper. The H2O molecules tend to stick together. This enables the *Waterfall Splashes* to (momentarily) form fantastic but transient shapes ~ AMEN !

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours
