Arguing with Myself.

Goldfinch60

Confusion reigns once more,

What day is it today

I ask myself?

It is Saturday I reply.

No it isn’t I argue,

It is another day!

No, it is Saturday!

I will have to look it up.

Oh go on then!

See on the computer it is Friday.

It cannot be Friday it is Saturday!

No look its Friday!

No it isn’t!

Yes it is!

No its Saturday,

Ever since we have retired

It is Saturday,

As every day is Saturday.

Oh yea, you are right,

It is Saturday!

I'm in a tangle too - is it today, tomorrow, or yesterday, or what is it? 'Tomorrow' never comes. When it gets here, it's 'today'. Hmm, strange that!

Today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday.

GOOD MOONDAY ~ Uncle Andy ~ Brian here ! Thanks for the Cool "Lockdown Horn* enjoyed ~ Reminded me of Kenny Ball ~ An ESSEX BOY ! Being on LOCKDOWN gives me a glimpse of what it will be like to be retired in 34 years time (2054) when Im 70 ! Although I do have to go into College twice a week to check on Allotment ~ Animals & Microcultures ~ The joys of Applied Science. We have a GOOD TEAM of qualified Technicians all of whome are doing OU Degrees which allows them to do some teaching. The OU is running on line ! I am the OU Coordinator for the College and an OU Personal Tutor.

Hi Brian, there is no way that Rick Braun and Kenny Ball can be compared except they both played the trumpet. Kenny Ball was a British Trad Jazz player and was very good in that style, I enjoyed him very much and still do but Rick Braun is a Cool Jazz player and composer whose work is so sublime. Sorry for the rant but I feel strong about this.
