A lso Sport - Leisure & Activity Centres - All
C losed to prevent any Social Interaction
K ids were deprived - because Schools had to be shut down
T his was met with euphoria at first - Now Boredom !
O pinion is divided on June First return ?
N ew drive for Primaries then Second*ries to be
O pen again ~ before the Summer Holidays !
R estaurants - Hotels - Shops - Pubs & Gyms - They can all .....
M ake a case to OPEN again ~ in July and
A ugust & September ~ to salvage what is now .....
L eft of SUMMER TWENTY - TWENTY ~ Their Best Season !

The UK Governments Plan is to get Schools up and running again in June (with Social Distancing) and Commerce & Industry from 5th July 2020. This will require lots of cooperation (and compromise) from the Population - Management & Unions to implement. Retail Trade was already losing a lot of ground to *On Line Sales* and it has now lost a lot more - due to the *contactlessness* nature of its transactions. Like Bill I fear there will never be a normal again for those of more advanced years but at least the economy will start it's long road to recovery.

We thought all you SEPTUGENARIANS wih your Bullet Proof Pensions & Gardens & Paint boxes - aint never had it so so GOOD Then the UNHOLY TRIO (COVID 19 A - B - C) came along and drove a Steamroller through it ! Retirement Homes beame an expensive frm of EUTHANASIA ! Our generation (The under 40s) will recover - BUT - The National & Global Economy will take a lot LONGER !

I seem to be agreeing with the 'elder' members on here, normality should not returns as we knew it. One, it could spark the virus again and two the camaraderie that has been shown during the Strange Times may be lost which would be so sad.
