Extended Life.

Goldfinch60

In my long life I have had no regrets

And looking back I only see the good,

The good that has been with me forever.

The lady in my life so loving,

Who I loved throughout.

Even though she has left this world,

That love is still there,

And she is still with me.

My working life has ended,

Ended with no regrets.

So in my dotage I now realise

That I have become an old man,

But I have become an old man in good time,

Because I know that I will become

An old man for a long time,

And enjoy every moment in that extended life.
