Nature's Glory for Me.

Goldfinch60

The sun rises In all its glory,

Shining shades of pink, red and orange

Onto the morning clouds.

As the sun gets higher

The clouds become white,

White balls of fluff,

Each unique in their appearance.

I look out at this wonder,

This wonder of nature,

And start to see the countryside

With so many different colours

Bringing its beauty into my heart.

I listen and the birds are singing,

Singing to me as I walk with them.

The glory and wonder of art and song

Is all there for me,

As I walk within Nature’s Canvas

Accompanied by Nature’s Symphony.

Good write Gold. Ramble on - avoid the thunderstorms though. You taking a brolly sometimes?!

    • Goldfinch60

Thanks Orchi, no brolly skin is waterproof.

Can't you hear what those birds are saying to you in their song? "Gerroff our bloody canvas with yer size eleven boots" or something similar.

Yes, it's wonderful to have the time, which is afforded to us later in life, to appreciate how beautiful this world around us can be. Mind you, it might be a totally different appreciation of our surroundings were we in the midst of a jungle where every other life form regards you as a meal or threat.

β€œTake nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints, kill nothing but time.”

Thanks d a, never been to a jungle but did have problem with a mole once.

      • Fay Slimm.

You paint the perfect attitude which is brought to positive better by walking with nature than by any other thing on earth........... thank you for sharing your heart's delight with us dear Andy.

        • Goldfinch60

Thank you Fay, walking and being with Nature is so wonderful.

GUT MITWOCH UNCLE ANDY ~ Brian Here (Angela on the Front Line - Pray for her !) thanks for the VIDEO ~ Where would we be without OPERA ? !

A FURTIVE TEAR ~ Thats how most of us feel about COVID 19 ( despite a minor BIOCHEMICAL breakthrough with STERIOD) if we*re honest !

I was uplifted by your Poem. COVID 19 seems to be targetting H. Sapiens (Man of Wisdom ?) and not Flora & Fauna in general. Is this GHIA fighting back against our distain for the Environment !

Still - as your elegant EULOGY so aptly states *Nature is always there 24/7 - In Englands Green & Pleasant Land - for us to enjoy* ~ NIL DESPERANDUM ET CARPE DIEM ~ AMEN !

BLESSINGS & Peace to You & Yours

Dusk and dawn, the two most perfect time of a day, when exuberant colors fill the sky on a global scale.
              Thanks for the canvas

              • Goldfinch60

My absolute pleasure Suresh, thank you.
