Yes, they’re a passionate bunch
For how they love the game
From small town courses
To the PGA with fame
Names of Nicklaus and Palmer
Well known by all
Now it’s Mcllroy and Mickelson
A new generation drives the ball
With the swing of a driver
A ball soars from the tee
Landing on waiting fairway
Then with a six iron to the green
Zealous voices from the crowd
“Sit down, sit down!”
“Get in the hole!”
In goes the ball with cheers all around
No, a golfer I’m not
Not sure why
Too many other things to do
Like watching paint dry
And no disrespect intended
I love passion in all its forms
But I find it hilarious
To a ball’s will, a golfer is sworn

It's the one game where one can be alone, and yet be with friends.
And great exercise. Thanks for the read and comment Suresh.
Good fun write AP. My brother plays golf, I play croquet and when we 'phone each other we go on and on about our games.
Andy
My parents tried to get me to play, but I found its just not a game for me. I did play golf with Sharon and her dad once in a father/son/daughter game. I even wrote about it. I'll post it later today. Thanks for the read and comment Andy.
Good write AP.
Thanks Orchi. You & KP play?
We might play - when I see her, that is. She's usually having Botox, or appearing in the papers yet again. Her ego trips, you know!
Her ego trips? Over you or herself?
