Every once in a while
Someone comes along
Your life and heart re-directed
Your heart hears the sweetest of love songs
At Scituate Country Club
Our parents were members
And one special day with you Sharon
I’ll always remember
I was so nervous
For you hadn’t known
From three years earlier
My love for you had grown
On this day we played golf
Guess it was plain to see
Yes, I was very shy
And you, more than just pretty
You and my sister
Lost in casual talk
And oh, how I wanted to
Instead, along beside you I walked
I regret now my shyness
For soon you would leave for LA
With your parents you had to move
But my heart will always remember that day

A fine write AP.
Thanks Orchi. One of my favorite memories of Sharon is that day playing golf with her (even though I've never been much of a golfer).
Most of us have been in similar situations, that leaves us with memories forever.
Thanks
Yes, forever memories. Thanks for the read and comment Suresh.
Those passed loves can still stir our hearts AP.
Andy
She's been at it for almost 53 years Andy. And I'm thankful for every minute. Thanks for the read and comment.
