The Dance of Light

Accidental Poet

Absorbed by colors of dark

Reflected back from that of bright

And when the Sun shines through rain

There’s a Rainbow of light

Through the lens of my camera

And to F/10.0 aperture is set

1/100 for shutter speed

For the Plymouth sunrise I’ll get

Where sunlight lands

Purely by chance

If clouds cooperate

Revealing a poetic dance

And each dance unique

Of its own host

A surface of detail

To display color the most

Mother Nature so diverse

Beauty everywhere you look

Even light from the Moon

A memory you took

As you look around you

Notice everything in sight

Feel how it moves you

In the dance of light

Thanks Orchi. One of those that just write themselves, if ya know what I mean.

Applause for this beautiful tribute to light and the dance it makes in diverse ways. The picture you chose added so well to points your poem raised. A lovely read.

Something I noticed one day when looking for photo opps. The light that lands on various different objects reflects light each in its own unique way. Thanks for the read and comment Fay. Much appreciated.

The wonder of Nature's glory is that each scene you see, and capture, is unique and will never be seen that way again, that is the wonder and glory of Nature captured in your words AP.

        Andy

What is the difference between sane and normality?

        • Accidental Poet

Yes Andy I have to agree. That's the beauty of Nature in that Nature is in control of beauty.

Not sure Andy. It would seem that sometimes, one man's sane is another man's normality. And vise versa. Thanks for the read and visit.

Thank you so much Suresh. Your compliment narrated the smile on my face just now. ; )

            Hi Accidental Poet,

What a beautiful write. Where there is darkness there is light.

Keep writing and safe during these challenging times.
